Competitions
Largest Bank
2.1 Over the course of the season, tippers will be supplied with a hypothetical bet on nominated races.
2.2 The level of the ‘wager’ is determined by the class of race. This is located next to the name of the race where you select your horse.
2.3 Each bet is a set figure and cannot be altered. All bets are each way bets therefore you can only collect if your horse comes in 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
2.4 If your horse finished 1st, 2nd or 3rd your bet stake will be multiplied by the Victorian tote odds and added to your bank account (after subtracting the stake).
2.5 After each day of racing the results will be tabled and published on the website.
2.6 The person after the last race in the competition with the most amount of money in their account will be deemed to be the winner.
2.7 It is important to note that as you are given a hypothetical amount each race to bet with this also means that your ‘bank balance’ can go into a negative position.
2.8 If there is a tie, the prizemoney will be split evenly between the winners.
Top Tipper
3.1 A tally of “1st” placegetters will be kept throughout the season.
3.2 The tipper who has selected the most 1st placed individual winners throughout the entire season will be deemed the winner.
3.3 If this is a tie the person with the Largest Bank (see Rule 2) will be declared the winner.
3.4 If this is still a tie, the prizemoney will be split evenly between the winners.
Feature Races
4.1 There will be some nominated ‘’Feature’ races selected from the list of races.
4.2 A separate competition including only these races will be run.
4.3 This will be run the same way as the largest bank competition (for details see rule 2).
4.4 The person after the last race in the competition with the most amount of money in their account will be deemed to be the winner.
4.5 It is important to note that as you are given a hypothetical amount each race to bet with this also means that your ‘bank balance’ can go into a negative position.
4.6 If there is a tie the prizemoney will be split evenly between the winners.
